I'm attaching a recessed 1 1/2" stainless steel edge to some MDF underneath a countertop. The stainless will not get any wear and tear, but I'm concerned about the LONG term adhesion. I need something that will set up fairly quick--and doesn't have to be clamped for 7 days to allow for cure time. I need some suggestions. 5 minute epoxy holds the stainless to the mdf, but worried about "no stretch" or elasticity....HELP....which adhesive should I use....
