If you are near Greensboro, you may be interested in hearing a talk on native plants by Tom Harville, president of the state NCNPS, on March 17 at 7:00 p.m. at the Natural Science Center, 4301 Lawndale Dr. This is sponsored by the Guilford Horticultural Society, but the public is invited, no fee. Also, I know that in Chapel Hill the Prather's garden will be part of that garden tour, but I am not sure of the actual date. They have many natives rescued over the years from NC's developing areas. There is a cost for this last one.
