    The flooring is a travertine from Turkey.

    How durable is that flooring? Is it easily cracked? I have a single piece of a similar tile and it broke when I stepped on it. Is the tile more durable when layed with other tiles? Also -- what pattern is used - what sizes of tile? Thanks!

    Is this travertine a mix of light and dark travertine? We are ordering some for our basement and can't decide between: light, dark, or mixed. Your flooring is warm and inviting. To answer the other person's question about the pattern. I believe they call the pattern Versaille or French (both mean the same thing).

    The Pattern is Versaille, The stone comes from the same quarry. It is not mixed with light and dark, it is the vaining in the stone that gives it the depth and warmth. The stone was from Turkey.
