Copper Awning w/ Stucco Front

Hi Hugh, I like the looks of this combination. How hardy would stucco be with shifting clay soil??

    the soil type should not affect a stucco finish with a properly designed foundation, and all types of finishes react poorly to poorly designed foundations. If you have shifting clay you could consider a helical pier of possibly a "raft" system. sounds like a call to a structural engineer with geotech consult is in your future
