Ok, I went in just to get some potting soil. I came out with 3 ivory David Austin carpet roses and an Endless summer hydrangea. The roses and hydrangeas are all 75% off. The roses I bought were in pretty decent shape, considering from whence they came. I had to prune the hydrangea pretty hard, but for five bucks, who cares?

I happened to be there Friday. I went in determined to buy only rooting hormone. I found a climbing Blaze rose that I had to save from certain death - it was only $1.74!!! I also got another rose for $2.24! And then I found a Bog Rosemary (Andromeda) for less than $7 and a Viburnum for less than $8.
I guess you know I went home with more than rooting hormone...

is this the one in garner? i'll have to stop by; they normally won't mark stuff down. now, lowe's will often have a cart towards the back of marked down stuff so i always check.
