They are American holly. A google search will bring up quite a bit of info.

I do really like these!! Thanks for the link Jay!! I bookmarked it for future reference!! I need to walk the rest of my property and see how many more I can find, perhaps this would be good to put as a front staggered line to my White Pine hedge. At least for a portion of the hedge closer to the house. So far I've found about 5 or 6 I think. I think that would look beautiful and I would love having a native plant hedge to give our privacy in the yard!! I've seen some big ones from the road a short distance away so I think they may be a good match for my pine.
