purple pitcher plant problems

My father bought me a purple pitcher plant last Christmas from Lowes, I have it in this thing that works as a terrarium by a west facing window...well since then its turned all green and the new growth of the pitchers (which has grown quite a few new pitchers since)are very thin and taller then the pitchers that was there before. They are so thin that they fall over and look sad. Do they need more light? Should I put it under one of my plant lights? Its never been fertilized, it has alot of humidity and in a spacious terrarium, its also still in its original pot. What can I do to save this plant and get it back to looking good again??

Thanks
