I wouldn't leave anything tender out in the elements tonight. Something like a garage or tool shed should do fine. Most succulents and herbs are pretty tough but after all that rain, to get that cold, might cause a problem.

Thanks, John! I brought them all in, and may keep them in for several days. It's bound to warm up again soon, RIGHT!?! :)

Never got down to the 34 degrees predicted here and didn't think it would but when the wind died I rushed to cover the tenders and heat loving eggplants and young peppers.
The annuals were in their 'greenhouse' with the clear plastic cover zipped up. They did fine.

A rush this morning to tilt solid covers so the plants would be exposed to sunrise and increasing light and less humidity. Covers off entirely before direct sun arrives.

I hope this is the last of the sudden cold snaps.
