The weather forecast currently has the temperature going down to 36 degrees tonight. That's a bit better than the earlier forecast of 32, but I'm still worried about my plants. What needs protection? Do I need to protect my Japanese maple that is just now leafing out? What about my hydrangeas? They've been growing new leaves for at least a month now, and have dealt with some chilly temperatures previously. My clematis are also actively growing and have quite a few flower buds. Will they be affected by the cold snap?
