I'm guessing Ornithogalum umbellatum, AKA "Star of Bethlehem" - check it out on Google. It's pretty, but can be weedy if it gets out of control.

Thanks ever so much for the identification,bubba. The easement between me and the creek is positively filled with this flower(bulb). I've never seen something from a bulb spread so widely and successfully (except for garlic chives).

You are dead on! I looked up a photo and sure enough, that's it. So, now I have 15 clumps of something I didn't have yet to call my own.

Very pretty when they bloom as a mass or drift. In the neighboring yard where I salvaged these, there were some similar blue flowers. Also pretty.

The blue ones might be brodeia. (i think that's it- might be mispelled).

Additional possibilities for the blue one would be Ipheion or Chionodoxa, both blooming now. You can look at pictures on the Pacific Bulb Society website to try and ID it for sure.
