You may have already have an answer. but in case you don't let me chime in. First, where in texas do you live? I'm in SA and have found many types of oranges including "washington" in many nurseries. You may need to travel to Houston or look on the web. One place you can place an order online is www.acornsprings.com, They have the "everhard" washington navel which will do well in your zone. LOL.

I like cara cara red navel better. It colors up much earlier. Washington tastes awful good though. I have a five year old tree for both.
