Marylu...the only clematis in your list that I have in my Gardens is "Avant-Guarde". It was newly planted in my gardens last year and did ok for it's first year but remember they are the "Sleep","Creep",then "Leap" vine so it will take a good 3 years to see it come into it's own.

'Huldine' is a wonderful clematis that blooms all Summer for me. It gets huge, too, and the flowers have a soft rose coloring when you turn them over.

All of my large growing Clems are new, so I can't add any suggestions from personal experience.

I did see Huldine at a mature garden last year and it was gorgeous and the owner recommended it highly. She was growing Clems for sale but has retired. Her garden was amazing.

Comtesse De Buchaud, I probably didn't spell it right, but it is a very pretty soft pink that shimmers, mine took off in it's 2nd year like gangbusters. I agree about Polish Spirit. Silmakivi, Ville De Lyon and Yamato, all good growers for me in zone 4. I also have Huldine and got tons of flowers and 9 feet of growth in the 2 year. These flowers should have fragrance to them, they look like they could smell like honey.
