Just an update on our garden. This is our second year and all our plots are filled. We have 46 plots 10 by 4 feet. They are raised beds. We went with the raised beds because after removing the sod we found our soil to be more like rock hard gravel! We have a big deer fence which is a help but we have a lot of damage from rabbits. We hope to surround the garden with chicken wire to try to keep out the rabbits. Our garden is on land in our Community park and the township allows us to use it and also provided the deer fence and the soil to fill the beds. We also are allowed to use the water spigot but the pressure is really low so that is a problem. All in all though it has been a great experience getting the garden up and running!
