I got Huldine from Koi Gardens last year and it really seems like a vigorous one. Haven't seen a bloom yet. I've got it climbing up a massive Sitka. Can't wait for it too take over.

Huldine is treated as a group III, right?

I like Huldine better than albo luxurians. I don't care for the green markings on albo luxurians. I think it makes it look deformed. Some people find it charming. Just a personal choice. They are both very vigourous and produce a lot of flowers.

I like Alba Luxurians better than Huldine. I do like the green markings and I don't think it looks deformed at all! It is a vigorous clematis as well. I just planted Alba Luxurians but I chose it after seeing both Huldine and AL growing in a friends garden. I much preferred the AL, but as flowerfan says, it is a personal choice.
