It's wonderful! I usually haul water all over my hilly garden, so this is especially nice. My rain barrels are filling up too. What a blessing! :)

I got over 4.5 in., so am quite happy. Of course, a lot of that will have been run-off, but it will re-fill streams and lakes, so it isn't really wasted. And the storms were MOSTLY not super heavy and were separated enough that I have hopes a lot soaked in!

Just shy of 3" in my yard - hoping for more .... skies today keep clouding up, clearing, clouding up, clearing .....

Would do a rain dance, but am going one better by throwing a b-day party for #1 son which includes cooking out - now, that oughta make it rain!

Btw, he's 39, but I adopted him when he was 20! (insert clueless, innocent smiley face)

Wonderful! I ran out between showers and pulled weeds while the ground was wet! I also moved a few plants around since my soil doesn't compact down when wet. Those transplants are happy campers today! Perfect timing!

I had to finally pull out one of my old, faithful lavenders that must have weighed 100 lbs! I had to get my husband to help me drag it out of the garden. All the rain this summer, the thickness and age of the plant, it was looking rather blackened.

I got right at 7 inches here in my rain gauge. My grass has exploded with green and new growth since the sun came out today, all of my Hisbiscus are in bloom including one I just picked up at Lowes last weekend and hasn't even been planted yet. On my agenda for the long weekend is putting in the paver floor for my greenhouse that just came in this week, and weeding. I want to catch it while the ground is still soft and easy to work with. This is just what we needed!!!
