'Jantar' and 'Janed Gold' Arborvitae are both available from Iseli where I live this spring. The 'Janed Gold' looked denser, but the plants are small, maybe a bit smaller foliage. Seems like a big push this year for 'Jantar' .... which seems to be vastly superior to all the other common varieties of Eastern Arbs they sell in the trade. I assume one or both of these will be the common yellow Arb in the US market in a few years, at the expense of the older types. 'Jantar' is shaped just like a 'Smaragd' and the yellow looks better, less like dog barf.

thanks Guys. my biggest concern is how to make such a house"warm" i mean i live in Poland and is pretty damn cold sometimes:) i have no experience about isolating brick and stone houses. big house i dont mind to cover in whatever it takes but the stone one i want to keep as it is outside. by the way i want to make my living room and kitchen in that stone house all the way up to the top ,open space big place. on the other building will be all the badrooms and other things. i want to open both buildings to outside wich is very green . big windows will be great but but trying to keep good taste of old buidings.it will be a big challange to connect botch roles. i want to connect both buildings witch glass only so it will give an softer look,and crazy look from inside. isulation bu the way is my biggest concern for now. how to make this house as warm as possible so i can save energy , money and green:)

Just had a thought when reading sunnie2day's post - My business has retreats and plans for annual cruises where our programs that increase human thriving are given. After you finish this it would be really cool to have one in your palace - a living example of someone successfully pursuing their passion. Other than personal experience, meeting someone is one of the best ways to inspire and help others believe their dreams are achievable. My Clientele is international and I would love to visit Poland.

I laughed at all your posts. Who knew having clean pets and kids would be so controversial. My pets and kids are all over the house. I have never bathed either one in the kitchen sink but have washed sons hair in the kitchen and occasionally my own. Dogs are bathed in the tub or in warm weather outside with the hose. I would like to weigh in on the germ issue. I have to renew my health and safety certificate every year for my work. We were told that the germs were not getting stronger, we are getting weaker with too much sanitizing. No need for anti anything. Soap and water does the trick. Living with animals makes a child's immune system stronger and they have less allergies than children who have lived a germ free life. Relax, enjoy, clean your sinks daily and all will be well.
