The only problem I've had with lilies is deer and maybe squirrels. They enjoy them so much they will start with the buds one night, come back for the stems and leaves the next night and then finally come back and dig up the bulbs.

As far as I know all of them do well here, some may get a bit taller than the catalogs say.

Hey TJ...I love lilies of all types myself. I usually try to get a mix of all summer blooming, starting with the asiatics early summer, orientals mid summer and trumpets late summer. Like TJ said if you have deer you will have them eating the flowers, my squirrels don't bother mine but I had to replace a whole bed of mixed lilies this summer because the voles decided it was their food of choice. I replanted them surrounding each bulb with permatil this time. They are so easy and beautiful.
