It's a natural veneer stone product I found at Bay Area Bluestone. http://www.bayareabluestone.com The names of these products change frequently. At the time it was referred to as 'Castle Rock,' not to be confused with the manufactured products of this name. The color was referred to as 'Chocolate.' You can't see it in this photo but we also clad the column to the right of the front door in this stone to break up the shingle siding. Hope this helps! Leigha
