We recvd' some rain early this morning before I got up (7)and then just had another that was wonderful!! The guys went out to do some measuring for the greenhouse and it started raining! They just kept going. They stopped and went on to do other things and it has stopped now, lol... I think I need to get them back out there, see if that helps to bring more rain!

This last one came from the south of us and the weather guy said it wouldn't hit us. I'm so glad he was wrong!

We got an unmeasurable amount here in Union near Charlotte. Skies look like we could get some more(I hope).

Just had a bit of light, drizzly rain here in Hickory this morning, but it has stopped already. Hope we get some more of the good stuff. . .What a tease!

We got some in Raleigh, maybe not much more than 1/2 inch, but it revived my impatiens and what's left of my coleus for the moment. My front garden is still doing okay. Plumbago blue is the main color, but also some dianthus is blooming, and everything else is at least still green.

In Carthage we didn't even get 1/10 of an inch. Just enough to make ABSOLUTELY no difference. UGH. Adele

I know the airport in Greensboro just recorded somewhere around 0.3 inch or so, but the birdbath out back which was previously empty had an inch of water in it Friday morning when I got up.

john said it poured at the fair yesterday, but here in garner we only got a scant 3/8" between the 2 days. i watched a huge storm go just a mile to the north of us and wanted to cry. i'm sure it's the same system that drenched the fairground. :( tam

Insignificant amount here (just south of Chapel Hill). We went out and bought a front loader washer so that we can save 20 gallons of water per load! Worth it!
