So, I forget to wake up my Albuca namaquensist last year... d'Oh! For reasons unknown to me now, when the plant went dormant, I moved it to a rack where I keep my empty pots. Accordingly, I treated this poor guy like an empty pot until I discovered it this spring! It hasn't really had any water for more than a year now, but the bulb is still really firm and green. At this point, I'm operating under the assumption that it is still viable. I've been gently watering it , just in case it wants to set some roots before its upcoming growing season. Given its name, I'd actually guess it could tolerate a year of total drought, skip a season of growth, and go right back to it the year after, but maybe I'm being too optimistic.
So I'm just curious, how likely do you think I am to get this plant growing? Any special dos or don'ts for coaxing it back to the watered side? Anyone else grow this or any other Albucas?

Here is the rather attractive bloom from a few years ago. These smell absolutely wonderful: understated but sweet and inviting.
