This a long shot but.....

I wonder if anyone can indentify this clematis without a picture. I saw it today and the owner had no idea what the name was so I took a flower home and of course it is now dried up. Anyway, it has a large lavender flower with yellow-gold antlers and 6 tepals. The back looks like it has a white stripe. I am quite sure it must be a type 2 as it has been blooming for quite awhile.I want one!!!!

Thanks. I do believe it is a HF Young. I went to see if Silver Star Vinery had one but of course by now they are sold out.I don't usually buy the type II but this one was a beauty and I will try and find it.

HyVee had it. Also saw it at either Home Depot or Lowes, (maybe at both) yesterday, large pots, reasonably priced. It's fairly common and worth growing, lovely color.
Where are you located? I'm in Cedar Falls.
