too late to divive hostas?

Checking with the local folks...I must divide my hostas they are about 3 feet across never done it before and wondering if is too late for it i have 3 plants that are completly gone(they may be gold standard)and 3 other(may be Fransis Williams)that are yellow but not dry,any sugestions welcome.Thanks.

No, not at all. As long as you can find the root system, you can transplant. And even though the weather is cooler, it's still best to water your transplants in. Just be sure you don't plant them in an area that will be soggy over the winter.
