I've had this pink lemon tree for about 8 months or so. I've only recenly almost killed it by over watering, ferilizing or a combination of both.

The result was it dropped all of its leaves except about 6 of them, this was about a month ago. Now i'm holding the water back and not fertizling for a while, now it looks like there are little sprouting braches with what looks like tiny green leaves. but they don't get very big before they fall off.

My question is what todo so those little leaf like things don't turn brown? should i trim the tree back, give it some food or just keep waiting for it to figure itself out?
