Wow, makes me wish my neighbor would Stop ripping off her seed pods on her clem. It kills me, I went over while they were in bloom, was going to go back a few days later to see if she'd allow me to snip the pods when they were ready... Yoink! She'd already ripped them off! Didn't even clip them off, but flat out ripped them off! Oy! Save the clem! I can't find one out here anywhere so I may have to break down and order a few. LoL Good luck on moving that clem!

Seeds aren't the best way to propagate Clematis.

If you don't deadhead they don't bloom again.
