Its time to pull the plug on my maniacal collecting of tropicals and concentrate on how I am going to protect them from jack frost this coming winter. Looking for sheathing, panels, or lites for a greenhouse...

I have an idea to build a pergola on my back porch so I can enjoy it as such during the warm seasons, then twitch my nose or let it change in the phone booth into a green house for winter.

Before I start said pergola construction, I will need to find some material, strata or what ever I will be using for the roof. Hopefully I might get lucky and find something or someone deconstructing a structure with materials I could use.

I will try to remain open to different materials for as long as possible. It is not necessary I do this on an absolutely zero dollar budget, but a fine dual purpose structure made from material saved from the land fill would be a proud feather in my non existant cap.
