You have quite a set up there Ken. Some thought went into it, for sure, before you began.

All your ideas are and should be quite beneficial to those who are wanting there own garden but don't know where to start.

Not quite sure who the original hose guy was..no pun intended. I guess it really doesn't matter.

i dont claim to be the inventor..

i claim only to be the guy who took his camera out.. and posted it for others ...

Heya Ken, quick question(and though I read 90% of it - I might have missed this step), how do you stop your CURRENT grass from spreading back into the new beds? I've tried several things here with only modest success.

Overall though, an invaluable thread for gardeners.

hey will ...

well former horse pasture is not quite grass.. and definitely not a lawn .... lol

look close on some of the pix .. where the mulch is already on ... it is held about 6 inches back from the edge.. for 2 reasons ..

first.. birds.. mostly robins.. search for worms.. and flick it into that area ...

and also.. about 2 or 3 times a year ... low pressure.. i simply shoot the edge... spraying inwards.. with generic roundup ... since nothing is really planted near the edge.. the process is very forgiving ...
