My current paintings

I thought I'd share some of my current paintings. Any one out there wanting to learn, take Adult Ed classes. That's what I've been doing these past two years and I'm having a blast.

This a replica of a Monet

I donated 3 paintings to our church as a fundraiser. I could kick myself as I didn't take any pictures of them. One sold for $1000.00 (an Icon of Saint Peter holding a scroll and the keys to heaven). The other two (Venice and Sunflowers) sold for $350.00 each. First time I ever had a painting sell.

Edna, I love them all! I think your garden one is my favorite.

Are you working in oils or acrylic? I used to dabble some in acrylic (for therapy during a very bad time) many, many years ago. I know now it was probably delayed post-partum depression, but it sure helped me.

I haven't done anything for years....I was never satisfied with any of them which is why I quit.

Wow, Edna, your legacy is building! :-) My two favorites are the first Monet and the one of your front yard. They are beautiful.

Great paintings! A $1000! I bet you were so proud.

The only time I sold a painting, was a commission from my doctor for his secretary's retirement.

They are beautiful, I especially like the one with the arbor. Impressionism is more difficult than people think. So much emotion is involved, too.

You have a wonderful talent Edna. How thrilling to have sold those that you did at the fund raiser. Congratulations. My favorite is the one of your garden. Love, heart and soul are seen in all of your works.
