Waiting for clues.

No rain this morning as forecast but more is expected tonight. Had half an inch on and off on Friday which changed our plans to visit the MN Arboretum and decided to skip the state fair today.

Oreos were on sale last week (what with the start of school & need for school lunches again) so bought a package. Am having one for a snack now, okay two as they are small.

We are talking of a single item. Other items on the list include, for instance, the Harry Potter books, but that would include all the books of the series, not one.

I didn't get here yesterday because we were hosting a party for our new neighbors. Easiest party I have ever had because I ordered all the food rather than cook! A couple of neighbors brought something and one brought two containers of deviled eggs. Yum. So, she and her husband left a little early to go to their weekend place on the bay (jeepers, I SO need one of those-ha) and she said she would just get the dishes on Wednesday. They are plastic carrying cases-very cute with a snap off lid. Cleaning up after everyone left, I couldn't find the bottom half of one of the cases. There were two eggs left before we cleared the table. I sent people home with lots of food. I hope no one just took the plate. I have gone through the trash and recycling. Cannot find it to save my life! It is such a puzzle. We can't imagine what happened to it. Now, I will be spending all day searching the internet looking for one to replace. Hers. This is so embarrassing.

Bobbie, I am jealous. At the store yesterday, I saw the Oreos and very much wanted to pick up a package. I managed not to, but suspect I will end up running over before the end of this long weekend. Sigh. I really have no willpower.

So does the word product imply manufacturing and a brand name, or is it more generic, like an egg? (I'm pretty sure you wouldn't have given us egg as a clue if egg was the answer.)

I'm thinking that the single product most sold must be something really common like a food of some kind.

No, not egg or plastic. The iPhone is number two. Lots of game apps there.

So, my classroom is far from ready, but I did buy new brightly colored baskets, bins, etc. I couldn't decide whether to go with one color or mix them up. Decided to mix them up, but I do have one color for each table-the blue table, the green table, the pink table (I am not a fan of red, so went with pink since I have two girls in the class). I rather prefer the randomly arranged look, though, so I have a variety of colors on my bookshelf behind my desk.

Still, I think I would rather be retired!

DH and I are celebrating our 58th, just got home from having a fabulous dinner.
I'm going to go with TM, Rubik's Cube, clues seem to fit. Other than that I'm skunked.

Yes, the Rubik's cube is correct. I find that rather astounding, but also pretty cool. In fact, I think I may buy several for my classroom! I wonder if my kiddoes would like it and stick to the challenge or become frustrated and turn it into a projectile.
