I am trying it again this year just to make sure.

I have grown this zinnia for two years. The best of the mix are really fun and different looking. They have useful stem length and lots of flowers.

I was so dissapointed in them I'm thinking of asking Parks for a refund. Very few of them look like the pics and those that do are dark colors no pastels. The majority came up singles. They're healthy though. (she said, trying to think of something nice to say)

I also planted their pastel cutting mix. They're ALL tithonia orange! Every one. They fade and they're ugly. AND they're short. They're healthy too.

I also planted their Candy Cane zinnias. They're supposed to be very full and red, pink and white striped. Very pretty pictures. They're all yellow and white singles some with red freckles. Yep, they're healthy...

I learned my lesson about buying "mixes." I ordered some Benary's Giants from Stokes in single colors. Can't wait to replace the Parks duds, but gosh what a waste of time!!!

Forgot to say - if you read the description carefully it says "up to 70% doubles!" That means the majority of them will be singles. They're nice if you like singles... and, well, they're healthy...

I noticed this info on their website about doubles becoming singles when transplanted: "Pincushion Zinnia, like many double-flowered varieties, prefers to be direct-sown in the sunny soil in early spring. (Some double-flowered Zinnias become singles when they're transplanted. We haven't found this to be the case with Pincushion, but to be on the safe side, direct-sow if you can.)"
