Growing Liberty snapdragons

I was talked into growing liberty snaps for my cuts instead of the usual Rockets and I am thoroughly disappointed so far. They seem to be no taller than about 10 inches max. They are healthy fat plants with these dwarf shoots. The information on line about them ranges from 'semi-dwarf, topping out at about 22"' or '24 to 36" and one of the best cut snaps'. Anybody out there with any experience growing these? Thanks
