I'm assuming your like me and your baby trees come in for the winter..

But what we have here for starters is a case of "too bigga pot".

When you bring your trees home you should let them acclimate in the pot they came in- then transpot if needed to only 1 size larger..

Also, you really do not want to be using miracle grow potting soil as it is way too heavy and will not allow the soil to be free draining. Try mixing your own soil- I did and I have seven very healthy citrus plants (HERE IN TN).

I do not claim to be any kind of expert, but I have learned a tremendous amount over the last year and a half from this site about raising healthy, thriving citrus plants.

the 'too bigga pot' thing was meant if your tree is 4 1/2" tall- thats how I read it the first time.. but you should never repot til the tree acclimates to it's new home or it will sulk badly..

Well look at us Tennessee-uns! I've started growing citrus this year too, how much fun is that?

Were your leaves turning colors and drooping before you transplanted?

Did you water after transplant? How much and how often?

Were is the tree- full sun, part shade?

How did the roots look when you transplanted?
