I don't care for them much myself. THe tulips are smaller and not as showy. In a bouquet they just look like small tulips. However if you want very small tulips for cute little bouquets of maybe for bridesmaids, the secondary ones get smaller and smaller...

I grew them in my cutting garden before I started selling. The stems were just too darned short for me, even though I was making much smaller bouquets then than I do now. I pulled them out. If you have a use for shorter-stemmed flowers, you might like them.

Hey. I say try them. We sell alot of small 'Cottage Bouquets'. Some people just want a little bouquet for their powder room, kitchen counter, desk area, etc. And, some buy them for token gifts.

Thanks for all the info. I suspected they wouldn't be as tall or as big as regular tulips--too good to be true. I appreciate everyone's input. I sell at a roadside stand, so have nothing else to sell at that time of year--I may try selling some 'cottage bouquets'---hope I can borrow your terminology. Those catalogues can make anything look big and gorgeous.
