I bought 2 from the garden center last summer, dug them up in the fall and stored them in the garage (40 degrees) all winter in a basket. I didn't water them, ever. Don't know if that's a good thing or bad thing.
It's still to early to put them out here in Montana. But I was wondering if there is something I should be doing now to prepare them. . . if I didn't winter kill them in the garage. I don't see any signs yet, although that doesn't worry me, or should it. . .
Just a few tips on what, if anything I should be doing (exposing to sunlight, water, rinse in mild bleach) Thanks. . .
