Go to Palatine roses and look under the Freelander roses for the Frutilla ones. YOu can even choose what color of hips you want!

That said, I love the big hips from the clmber "Summer WIne"(start orange and darken to red) for larger bouquets, and for the smaller ones my (I think it is called "Tumbling waters") rose. Any how, it has clusters of small white flowers in summer, several flushes of them, and they turn to tiny bright red sprays of hips in winter.

Wow, you are right! They have disappeared! I would give them a call directly. I talked with them about these last spring and about what I would like them to get in at the time they were making their orders. Perhaps they are jsut out of them right now. But they could tell you if they will have any when they put up their new order list in the fall. Perhaps they could order them for you next time. THey are Kordes roses.

You can also google Kordes directly and look at them on their site.

By the way, the Freelander roses I have purchased are starting to produce for me and they are wonderful! These are florist roses that can be grown outside in the garden. I am blown away by Marvelle and the Taifuns, and haven't found any I did not like. Ice Girl is a beautiful white, Corrie a hot pink...check them out! I intend to order as many more as I can fit in and they can get their hands on! I am craving the new Peach Taifun spray rose! THey really do last much longer in the vase.

Thanks so much for your suggestion to visit the Kordes site where I saw the information on the roses offering different sizes and colors of rose hips.

I also saw the Peach Taifun spray rose. I'm glad you have tried some of these out and have shared your experience with them. I think the Peach Taifun really looks like a winner.
