This is my first year with these lovelies and I think I may have over planted the bed - my gladiolus have outflanked the dahlias in the front, and I am wondering if anyone else mixes their beds with other bulbs or annuals. I know now that I need to get some high-nitrogen fertilizer on the foliage ASAP, but aside from that, is it wise to plant so many tuber/bulbs together?
