Lovely!!

Lovely photos, we're having another sprinkling of snow this morning but it looks like it's turning to rain YEA, maybe our freezing temps are on the way out. It looks like I might have lost all my hellebores even the snowdrops are laying flat :(.

Our yard looks a lot like yours. Seems like we are getting snow almost every other day this week. I am worried that many of my roses might not make it through the winter even with the snow cover. We have been so cold. Many of the cities, including ours, are having problems with water and sewer lines freezing up. Asking people to run their water in a pencil sized stream. The frost is 5-6 feet deep. Keeping our fingers crossed that we don't have water/sewer problems. Just a block over from us they have been asked to run their water.

Here in the Buffalo area we are finally getting milder temps and only light snow flurries. It is 25 and you would think it was 50 by the way it feels in contrast to the last 2 months. We are the second greatest snow fall of the country this year. The highest is Erie Pa. which is just a 90 minutes drive south along Lake Eries from us. The frigid temps with high winds has turned many Rose canes black. There will be heavy pruning this spring. Beautiful photos of the peace feeling snow can bring, Schoolhouse. Mary lu, We have had water problems in places too. Luckily not. our street. We may reach 40 early next week. Now begins the fear of flooding. Most of our record snow fall is still here, piled and compacted. If we have a hot and fast thaw with rain there will be real trouble. I wish everyone a safe and gentle start to spring.

It's snowing again today, 15 degree temps. I thought it had to be warmer to snow? ugh.

I'm worried about the roses too. It's been too cold for too long.
