We moved to the country last year. We have a well, and with that a large cap for it sticking out of the ground. Not only is the large cap somewhat unsightly but the grass over the well tends to die (burn up) very easily. I have a perfect rectangular shaped bald spot in the yard around the well cap for this reason. I would like to put some landscaping in this area to mask the well cap and to eliminate the bald spot. I am not sure what type of plants, shrubs, or flowers might thrive in such an area however. 100% sun, apparently a hot spot. Deer resistant would also be preferable. Any thoughts?
