I would say yes. That stuff will go grazy and act like a groundcover. My entire garden was covered with it and I removed it..HA....it still comes back everywhere! It is pretty, and is not demanding at all.

Puff - for instant gratification, do a whole plant, but you'll be surprised at how fast plants will sprout up from just bits and pieces strewn here and there and covered with a little bit of soil. Animals pass through some of mine and knock off stems which produce plants in just a couple of weeks.
