Going from vertical to horizontal is quite a transformation. The plant in proportion is now 3-1 instead of 1-1. Much more aesthetically pleasing.

I've been baking the past two days making lots of holiday treats.
10dz chocolate rocks
10dz chocolate oatmeal drop cookies
3 batches of fudge
5dz oatmeal raisin drop cookie
Mochi (hawaian rice squares)
bitsu-bitsu (filipino sweet potato fritters)

Much better after the repot.

Yeah, that is about 100 times better. You certainly have an eye for the best way to show your plants.

I had to remove about 2/3 of the roots so I had to wire it down. The roots are fine and fibrous so the wire wraps around the base of the trunk then through the rain holes.

I don't know about incredible but if you say so. It's a weird thing staging plants, it takes no effort on my part. I look at the plant, rocks and pot, then it comes together. Making my own pots helps and I have taken a couple of staging workshops.

I take that back...you're completely credible ;)

When you root prune one of these, do you let them sit in dry substrate for a while when they are in growth (like now)? Or, out of the soil for a while?

This one seems to tolerate your treatment very well...

After pruning it was placed into slightly moistened pumice from the recent rains. Sat unwatered for two days before it rained again.
