Thanks for the info. We only use bromine, and sometimes baking soda if the ph gets a little off. We seem to be able to keep it pretty level. I appreciate your help.

I have the same and use it in the garden. However, we keep the bromine level at the lowest we can get away with and still maintain the tub. Never had a problem-but i do rotate the area I dump the water in so one area never repeatedly receives all the tub water.

Is there a time of year that hot tubs/spas go on sale? My husband and I fell in love with with a Sundance Spa on a vacation in the GA mountains. We've cleared a space on our lower deck but want to get the best value. We liked the Bull frog and the Hot Springs line but would love some comments.

I know ccrl posted this years ago...but perhaps she will get an email alert and get the message that I have replied. We've had 2 hot tubs / spas and are shopping now for one. Sundance is the brand we are considering, so I thought it would be good if ccrl connected so I could share my experiences w/ two brands and she could let us know if she got a Sundance (and if so, how she likes it!)
