WANTED: Interest for Bulb Swap: Fall-Blooming Bulbs???

I was thinking about a Canadian Forum Bulb Swap Â I participated in a local one (not through Garden Web) last year and it was great fun. I thought IÂd put the idea out there to see if anyone is interested.

IÂm willing to host it and will post specific details/dates etc if there is enough interest!

I was thinking of a bi-annual event Â one in the early Spring to exchange fall-blooming bulbs (planted in Spring) and then another in the early fall to exchange spring-blooming bulbs (planted in the Fall).

If you'd be interested in participating in something like this, could you please post on the thread so I can see if there is enough interest to warrant the swap :)

Alright, well I was thinking of posting the specifics in a couple weeks and then having the dates being:
Bulbs must be received by: March 1
Bulbs will be sent out no later than: March 15
so that we all have time to research our new goodies :)

So I'll be posting the details in the next couple weeks. Hopefully we'll get some more participants as well, as the forum starts to get busy again in the Spring!!!

I want to be in your exchange too, just not until the fall. I just moved and have yet to plant my new garden beds. Never move in the winter! Every plant I own is in containers. I have lots of irises, daylilies, columbine(I know not a bulb), daffodils, bluebells and other various bulbs. I am also getting several types of fall bulbs this spring so can participate next spring if the exchange happens again next year.

Sure thing. The Fall exchange will probably near the beginning of September. If we get a good group of people interested, I'll certainly be hosting one again next year too. Its perfect for diving bulbs, etc. Again, I'll be posting the specifics soon :)
