1. I have a pomegranate tree I grew from seed, in a large pot; it went dormant over the winter. I thought it was dead, so I planted some scarlet pimpernel seeds I had at the base. (I like the little flowers). The tree came back, but it's still a bit sad and sorry (it's a foot tall or so), and keeps sort of bending over. Do I need to pull up the scarlet pimpernel to save the pomegranate, or is there something else I should be doing for the poor thing?

2. My sunflowers (also in large pots) bloom once, then fall over. Is that normal, or am I doing something wrong?
