I lathe as a hobby and accumulate various wood shavings. Mostly cherry, some maple/oak, and a little exotic woods. Can these shavings be spread over the garden in the fall and tilled in the spring without harm to later crops or used as a mulch after planting? Are there any woods that would definately be a problem?
