I located a Pinus strobus WB that is very high and on private propery. They agreed to allow me to get cutting, but they want to use their tree guys and a bucket truck. Nice deal but need to wait until the tree guys are on site, and it is well past the ideal time.

Is it worth trying summer grafting if they call today and have the cutting? What would I do special? I have done winter grafting with good results. Unfortunately I have little control on time of taking the cuttings.
