WANTED: Fall trade date set

The plant trade/potluck at my sister's home in the Lake Tapps/Buckley/Bonney Lake area will be held on Saturday September 18th. She felt that was a good gift to give herself on her birthday. All kinds of plant people getting together to enjoy the day.

Details such as time, etc will be worked out closer to the date.

Hi Kelley I might be able to make this one! Not a whole lot farther to drive then the trades I've attended before and NO Fairies to make me sea sick. :-p

I guess I'll know for sure as the date aproches...

    Take care, Penny

Bumping this up (it is still on, right?) because I really do plan to make this one!

The wedding will be over and I will be a free woman so to speak.

Yup, it is still a go!

I want to go. I'm going to go put it on the calendar now! Maybe my sister will actually make this one. She ditched me just because it is a low tide and the kids want to go crabbing. Oh well, more plants for the rest of us.

    Kellie,
Have it marked on the calander. Let your sister know - thank you. It will be interesting my birthday is on the 10th and one of my sons the 16th. A party full of VIRGO's my, my what the world will become. Now if Suzi comes we can make that 4 VIRGo's...lol

Teresa - too bad about your sister. I was bad and had my kids play hooky for the first time Friday. We enjoyed going clam digging! The tides were GREAT! Nothing was making me miss my second trade...lol.

    jjmpine-
    Take a look at this post the responses will give you an idea of how they go most of the time;

    http://forums.gardenweb.com/forums/load/expacnw/msg0610284118628.html?2

As far as types - we are a non discriminatory group we love ALL plants, although not weeds..lol
Indoor, outdoor, seedlings, cuttings, we LOVE THEM ALL! You can look at most fo the members of this forum and see a trade list you will see all kinds. Heck I have even been able to trade non - plant items at times for plants. The members here are the best and very kind!

    Hope to see you there.

I'll be there, too. I've been gone a while - can't wait to see you all! I probably won't trade - I'll just bring plants to give away.

Ok, count me in for my first plant swap! Sounds like a good time, even in my old stomping grounds (I'm from Sumner). Now, what to dig up???? Madeline is darling...will she be attending?

HHHHHHHHHHHHHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEYYYYYYYYYYYYY There Kellie!!!!! (and everybody else too!!!LOL!!!)
Thought ya dropped off the face of the earth!!!!! Do you still need any help at your place? (Okay...but I DON'T DO WINDOWS! LOL!)
COUNT me in for this Fall swap....Oh yeah! I'm sooooo there!

Yup, I'll be there, but I'll be chair-bound. I'm having foot surgery on Sept 7th and I'll be in a cast boot for a month, so I'll have to be sure to get all my trade plants dug and potted before that.

    Bump bump!

I've never been to a trade. I mostly raise herbs and edibles (grapes, currants, berries, unusuals) and am interested in possibly attending this trade. I didn't make it to any of the markets this year although I'm gearing up for next year already so I have tons of plants. Please fill me in on the details for this trade (location, time, date, etc.) Thanks!

As the trade date approaches, the host will post more detailed info about location, time, etc.

Generally, we meet at the location with our trade plants and a potluck dish. Some people prearrange trades and some just bring all their extras (or, a combination of both). There is always plenty to go around! And it's a fun time.
