wanted: carnation pinks seed, short & fragrant please.

Hi,

Boy would I love to find seed from an old fashion Carnation that smells like I remember in my Grandma's garden.

Please....if you have any to share. I have fresh seed of Primula, dark pink Sweet William, Native Columbine formosa red with yellow, Welch Poppy mixture in orange & yellow, Columbine in a frilly solid pink.

I have some fragrant pinks but they may be too tall for what you want. The flower stems are 18 to 24 inches above the short mounding leaves. The seeds aren't quite ripe yet, but if you're interested, I'll set some aside for you when they are ready. Barb

Thank you. I'd love to give your fragrant Carnations a try. Gad..I wonder if the shorter fragrant ones still exist. It was 30 years ago when I smelled the cottage pinks I remember and want to grow.
