I would love a start of the Harison's Yellow. Interesting note - Harison is spelled with only one 'r'. The rose is named after the fellow in New York who introduced it in 1830. It's a seedling of Rosa foetida. It is also called the Oregon Trail Rose and the Yellow Rose of Texas. It is, indeed, the one that many people brought in covered wagons when the West was settled. Many were started from cuttings stuck in potatoes to keep them moist until they could be planted. There was a beatiful specimen at the Crosby House (Grandparents of crooner Bing Crosby) in Tumwater, WA. The trunk was bigger around than a telephone pole. During renovations, it was cut down. I always regret not getting a start from it, so would dearly lve one of yours.
