Rosebuds & Hanging Baskets

A teenage granddaughter comes downstairs for her date

with this see-through blouse on and no bra. Her grandmother

just pitched a fit, telling her not to dare go out like

that!

The teenager tells her, "Loosen up Grams. These are

modern times. You gotta let your rose buds show!," and out

she goes.

The next day the teenager comes down stairs, and the

grandmother is sitting there with no top on. The teenager

wants to die.

She explains to her grandmother that she has friends

coming over and that it is just not appropriate.....

The grandmother says, "Loosen up, Sweetie. If you can

show off your rose buds, then I can display my hanging

baskets."

I'll never be able to look at a rose bush or hanging baskets in quite the same way! ROTFL!!

When my cousin and her boyfriend were here on the weekend, we decided to go out for supper on their last night here. She was in the shower and didn't know what we'd decided, so she'd hand-washed her bra. Her boyfriend said, "Just don't wear one." She answered, "I'm 40 now. They'd be slapping against my thighs!"

I know, yesterday I was watering my Petunia Wave hanging baskets and I was thinking the same thing Doris ;)

Is there such a thing as a hanging rose? LOL

LOL! There is sort of a hanging rose - ground cover roses will hang if they go over the edge of a wall or something. Let's all think of our hanging baskets (or future hanging baskets) as ground cover roses... this thread just stopped being tasteful - LOL!! Sorry!
