Name this iris please?

20 years ago

I have this very enthusiastic iris with very small flowers that someone gave to me. Can anyone ID it for me? The flowers are about 2" across, and the leaves are close to 3 feet tall. I like the effect of the foliage, but the flowers aren't very showy. They're not very bright and they tend to hide down in the foliage.
