My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Blooming is Picking Up

Normally, I care nothing for smaller flowers. I will never be without Black Fathom Depths - it has such a glowing color and so many blooms:

All of these are new to me this year, and all of them but Count It all Joy are either lily auction wins or bonuses:

    I can see why you wouldn't be without Black Fathom Depths. It's very pretty. And like you, I don't normally go for the smaller blooms.

    These are all very nice looking.

    Oh Kay,Your bloom shot is gorgeous.
    BFD sure looks to be a winner. Not sure if the camera is picking up the color but it almost looks navy blue in the eyezone.

    But, I really like Carnival Mask.

    Thanks Vickie and Julia,

    The color on the monitor onBFD is precisely the color it appear to the eye in life. It seems as if it has almost a glow at the center. I have never seen that precise effect on any other bloom.

    I wish someone else who has been growing daylilies longer than I have could tell me if there is another one that has that deep blue-black glow at center.

    Kay - Every time I see a photo of your Count It All Joy, I smile. It's such a cheerful bloom! From your landscape shot, it looks like you have a lot of blooms. This is definitely not too many photos. In fact, I'd love to see more.

    What, what, you only posted afew pictures? You know we love pictures here. I have to say my favorite is the bed shot looking accross all the daylilies to the greenhouse. So much bloom to come, wonderful. My favorite of the flowers is Black Fathom Depths, it is really lovely.

    Oh My Goodness KAY. Only a few pictures, when I see lots in that bed? Looks like you are about to have blooms every where, very soon. I love all of these today,and I can not pick out a favorite ONE out of them.I have scrolled up and down,to find a favorite, but,I can't.geeee, I LOVE ALL OF THEM.

    It's so hard to pick a favorite out of this group. Black Fathom Depths is wonderful and I've never heard of it before. Going on my wishlist. I also love Count It All Joy. Facepaint is new to me this year also. I hope it blooms as nice as your's.
    Please post more. After looking at your garden picture, I keep wondering what we didn't get to see. lol
